Position available: Mosquito Control Technician
Hiring for: Full & Part-Time Positions
Approximate Pay: $2,000-$6,000/month
Performance Bonuses: Available!
Position Description:
A Mosquito Guard Mosquito Control Technician visually inspects and treats customers yards for mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks. Additional responsibilities include Customer Service, Customer Relations, Chemical and Operational Record Keeping, Service Vehicle Upkeep, and Company Marketing Tasks.
Position Benefits:

- Long-sleeve shirt, hat and PPE gear provided by the company
- Working outdoors and helping to keep our communities and neighborhoods free of harmful mosquitoes, fleas and ticks
Position Requirements*:
- Willingness to obtaining a “Pesticide Operator License” (paid for by the company – a $250 value)
- Able to walk customer property while wearing backpack sprayer equipment weighing over 50lbs. for long periods of
time in warm temperatures (waterproof boots highly recommended – NO SNEAKERS!) - Comfortable with mixing mosquito, flea, and tick control chemicals before use
- Must wear company provided uniform (long sleeve shirt, hat) at all times and proper PPE gear (gloves, face shield, and
K/N95 face mask) when mixing and spraying chemicals - Must wear and provide long pants and waterproof boots
- A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and good customer service skills
- Must be able to read and follow instructions in English and the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Experience in pesticide spraying or landscaping work is preferred, but not required
